What are women and minority applicants saying?
Additional financial resources for minorities and women to pursue patent careers is much needed in this field. We are already disadvantaged by a lack of knowledge regarding career opportunities as patent practitioners, but even with that knowledge, minorities need the financial means to pursue such a career path. These issues are directly related to the lack of diversity and opportunity for minorities to succeed within many law firms. Fortunately, through my training, I’ve been able to acquire an abundance of knowledge that has allowed me to mitigate at least some of these issues.
